The S.S.D. Sabha, Bathinda has opened a new Coeducational College at Bathinda-Goniana Road. The Sabha is engaged in imparting education for the last more than 50 years. The Sabha is already running 3 Girls Colleges, 6 Schools and 4 temples. About 8000 students are studying in the institutions run by the Sabha. The motto of the Sabha is to serve the society. It is a nonprofit making organization.
We are proud to say that the top positions of Universities are mainly achieved by our students of Girls colleges and they have major share in Merit List also. This year the students of our SSD Krishna Vatika Sr. Sec School had 3rd Rank in all the three esteems ( Medical, Non Medical and Commerce) of + 2 CBSE Board Exams.
Every year more than 500 students pass out +2 exams from our own Institutions. A need was felt for quality education in professional courses. Therefore the Sabha decided to open a new Coeducation College which will have courses for B.Sc. Honours Agriculture, B.Com., B.Com. Honours, M.Com., B.B.A, B.C.A, B.A.
The students of nearby villages will be benefited with B.Sc. Agriculture and students of urban area can have professional courses like M. Com., BBA, BCA. It is a Coeducation college and admissions for the session 2022-23 have started. The courses are being affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala. Preference in admission and Fee Concession will be given to Merit holders, students from rural area, Girl students and students coming from our own institutions.
The entire infrastructure is ready. The College is housed in a beautiful, modern building. It is having a Computer Laboratory, Practical Labs, Library, huge play grounds besides airy class rooms. We hope the people of the area will be benefited with this college.
